STUDY THE LEVEL OF ARGINASE ACTIVITY AND ITS CORRELATION WITH LIVER AND KIDNEY FUNCTIONS FOR PATIENTS WITH TYPE-2 DIABETES IN NINEVEH GOVERNORATE

Background: Arginase plays an essential role in type 2 diabetes. Aim of the study: The study aimed to determine level arginase activity individuals patients with diabetes mellitus (DMT2) and correlation between investigated variables. Patients material methods: included 201 adults divided into two groups: those II (136 people) healthy (65 people). Blood non-fasting persons had their activity, glucose, glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate (AST), urea, creatinine levels tested.Results: findings showed that was significantly increased (p≤0.0001) comparison a adult, but there no significant differentiation for each factors sex age. A positive (P=0.01) found Glucose (r=0.584), HbA1c (r=0.454), AST(GOT) (r=0.433), ALT (GPT) (r=0.295), ALP (r=0.639), Urea (r=0.667), Creatinine (r=0.658).
